Industrial Design for Manufacture

Tom Gregory is a Industrial/ Product Designer with close to 10 year’s experience working in-house, freelance and as a design project manager for external designer’s, across a wide range of product typologies.

He works across the full design life cycle from setting briefs, early stage innovation and concept development, through to Design for Manufacture (DFM), value engineering and post launch support, turning complex briefs and commercial restrains into practice, manufacturable solutions.

Tom, also has experience as the lead in-house Product Designer, managing his own internal projects, as well as overseeing market leading external designers on other briefs that are live at the same time. In that capacity, he acts more as a design manager, overseeing the development process, sourcing suppliers in both the UK and overseas and ensuring commercial viability, suitability for specific business requirements and engaging with various stakeholders throughout the life cycle of a products development.
